Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (against seat allotted by the Govt. of India’ Assam Energy Institute, Sibsagar) in the session 2021-2022.

Exam Centers: Admission Test will be held in selected centers at Mangaldoi, Tezpur and in Govt. Polytechnics/ Institutions of Assam

Date of Exam: 25/07/2021 (Sunday)

Time of Exam: 10 AM to 12 Noon (2 Hours)

Question Type: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)

Resident-ship: Candidates will not be permitted to take admission without Permanent Resident Certificate [PRC) after clearing Polytechnic Admission Test-2021. Therefore, the candidates are required to keep the PRC in hand in advance for admission.

 

 

Educational Qualification of Assam Polytechnic Entrance Exam (PAT) 2021: 

HSLC passed or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as mandatory subject with-

 

*Average 40% marks in Maths and Science for General/UR Candidates.

*Average 35% marks in Maths and Science for Schedule Caste (SC) Candidates.             *Average 33% marks in Maths and Science for Scheduled Tribes (ST) Candidates.

 

Age Limit:

The Upper age limit is as given below for each categories-

General/UR: Up to 20 years 6 months as on 31.12.2021.

Schedule Caste (SC)/ Schedule Tribe (ST): Up to 23 years 6 months as on 31.12.2021.                 For institutions outside Assam: Up to 20 years 6 months as on 31.12.2021 (irrespective of category).

 

Application Fee of Assam Polytechnic Entrance Exam (PAT) 2021:

Fee for Admission Test of Rs.500/- [plus bank charges as applicable) is to be paid using “State Bank Collect” which facilitates payment via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. Payment may also be made in cash at all branch of State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit Form “State Bank Collect’ in last step of Online Application. Further instructions details will be available during the online application process.

Interested and eligible candidates who are permanent citizen of Assam Candidates are to  apply online by logging into www.dte.assam.gov.in   and click on "Online Application for PAT-2021" will start from 20th May,2021 and will remain open till 30th June, 2021.

Syllabus for Assam Polytechnic Entrance Exam (PAT) 2021

Assam Polytechnic (PAT) Syllabus are going to be published on website via online mode. Candidates are advised to review from 10th level topics from subjects as Science, Mathematics and English. Some of the topics from each subject are going to be as:

Science: Candidates must study from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects.

Mathematics: It will comprise of topics as Arithmetic’s, Matrices, Probability, Mathematical Reasoning, Sets & Functions, Trigonometry and many other topics.

English: It will comprise of topics as Grammar & Command of Language.
